Application Process (approx. 45 days)
You can start the process today by completing the franchise application  online. A Sign Setters representative will then inform you whether your application has been approved for consideration in the franchise awarding process. A Franchise Disclosure Document will be sent to you. If you want to proceed after reading the Franchise Disclosure Document, we will request additional information from you and process credit and background checks. If you are accepted as a Sign Setters franchisee, we will present you with a Franchise Agreement. Once the agreement is executed, you will receive your Operating Manual. This comprehensive manual, along with the assistance of the Sign Setters corporate staff, will guide you through the Sign Setters development and operating process.

Location & Leasing (approx. 1 to 2 months)
With the assistance of your real estate broker, you will find a location for your Sign Setters warehouse. The Sign Setters Operating Manual will provide suggestions on how to approach typical non-retail lease issues and what you may want to include in your lease.

Building & Outfitting Your Warehouse (approx. 1 to 2 months)
Your Operating Manual will give you detailed instructions on exactly what you need to stock your warehouse and where to get it. Most of the equipment and initial supplies you need to open and operate your Sign Setters franchise are purchased from Sign Setterss or from Sign Setters approved vendors.

Recruiting Employees (approx. 2 weeks)
It has been Sign Setters experience that there are many qualified local applicants available to join your team. The Operating Manual and the franchisee training program will provide suggestions on how to attract the right employees for your franchise.

Training (approx. 2 weeks)
Prior to opening your franchise, you will attend an intensive 2-week training program on how to operate your business as a Sign Setters franchisee. You will also spend time in an operating Sign Setters warehouse to better learn the ins and outs of running your operation. At the conclusion of training, you will fully understand how to operate your Sign Setters franchise and how to exceed the expectations of your customers.

Getting Ready (approx. 1 week)
With the assistance of the Sign Setters corporate staff, you will create a grand opening plan to inform potential customers in your area that a great new Sign Setters is about to open. Near opening day, a Sign Setters representative will arrive and help you through any last minute details.

The big day is finally here! You are the owner of a new professional real estate sign post installation business. Sign Setters representatives will be with you on opening day to assist you with addressing any issues that may arise. Together we will work to help you build your business and continue to provide your customers with an experience that combines quality, class, and value.
